What are the eligibility criteria and selection process for Group exams?

Eligibility criteria

  1. Education: a candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Selection process

The selection process for Group 1 consists of three stages:

  1. Preliminary exam: this is a screening test that consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates who clear the preliminary exam move on to the next stage.
  2. Main exam: this is a descriptive exam and includes papers on general studies and optional subjects. It plays a crucial role in determining the merit of the candidate.
